@Loudram and @jawzs2 both have good pointers! i never saw one roll away but i also use chocks. gas up pre trip is awesome idea!!!

Yeah, it's usually not pretty. most of the time the tongue jack folds up like a pretzel, then it's a hydraulic jack and parts replacement.

that would have to be one steep and unlevel campsite for one to roll away?

Usually there's a block or two under the jack, trailer starts to roll, jack drops off the blocks to the ground and that's all she wrote, the fat lady starts singing.

Crooked Run Campground. Wife switched a shift so we have to stay close to home.

Hope to be camping in the state forest motorized sites most of the year.

Looking to do Parker Dam, Black Moshannon, Greenwood Furnace and Fowlers Hollow. Want to get to Kettle Creek, ole bull and a few others

Not familiar with yellow creek. We usually stay within 100 miles. We love Central Pennsylvania. Not really interested with spending the seat time to go anywhere else lol.

Just did a week in Givhans Ferry state park out side of Charleston SC.

Stopped at the OBX on the way back to maryland, currently sitting by the beach at Camp Hatteras.

Have a few long weekends planned at the Delaware beaches, OCMD, Lake George NY...

We took our 5th Wheel down to Myrtle Beach State Park for the month of Feb. They have a snowbird special and it only cost $390 for the month. I'm only 4 hours from home so I came home a couple times to work. It's a nice place to camp. They've kept it all natural around the park. Less than a 5 minutes walk to the beach. And a fishing pier if you like to fish.

We are blessed to have an Army Corps of Eng. lake/dam near our home. You have to be on your toes to get a reservation. Great camping with views and it's really cheap. We have a two week stay starting next week.

I want to Boondock some. I don't have the DW sold on it yet. We have a 35g black, 35g gray and a 30g fresh water tank and a Honda 3000 Gen. We can go a week without dumping. I've been looking at Boondocker's Welcome and I would enjoy the adventure.

I still want to work for a couple more years but I'm ready to sell everything and go fulltime. I'm not attached to anything material anymore and I'm not getting any younger. We plan to sell our home in the next six months keeping the DW's parents home as a home base. I've already had some grading done and a pad put in there to park the camper.

It used to be like this every weekend except memorial day, 4th of July, labor day, and Halloween.

There are plenty of people here...but they all want to camp down at the full hook up. Looks like a small city down there.

I prefer to be secluded and alone. Next weekend looks pretty good too...about the 2nd weekend in May it gets packed and stays that way til Labor day.

Hoping the covid newbies get bored soon... unfortunately camping is a great time and some seem to realize that.

No secret here. Our favorite place to go in April and the weekends my wife works.

Crooked Run Campground in Prince Gallitzin State Park
