2021 Ram 1500 hemi shut off when driving

2021 Ram 1500 hemi shut off when driving. Stuck on side of road. Cannot restart. Multiple errors on dash including check engine, airbag faults etc, abs fault, radio anti theft on too. Cannot do anything. Anyone have a suggestion. Cannot even get out of park.

the only thing i can think of might help dissconect the battery to reset everything

Try a battery(s) negative cable disconnect. Leave it disconnected for 30 minutes.

While waiting check the main harness connection to the PCM, plus all your main power positive and ground connections (starter, battery, body, etc....

Once you connect the battery(s) then give it a go.

It might be worth a look on the driver's side under the truck around the back of the front tire, maybe inside the frame rail, look for a large wire harness that may be slightly separated.

Thanks. I got a flatbed tow to the ram dealer. It will sit till Monday so I will try and do that while it sits tomorrow.

Thanks was flatbeded to dealer but will take a look tomorrow since it won’t be looked at till Monday.

I had similar thing happen to me that I posted in the Engine Performance forum here. 2022 1500 eTourge, A week ago I was under heavy acceleration merging into interstate traffic when my dash lit up and engine shut down. I coasted to side of the interstate and powered everything off. Let it sit for a few minutes and mine did start back up but the check engine light stayed on. I drove very reserved for the remaining ride home. Called local dealer who can't get it in until next week but after letting the truck sit for 2 days the check engine light went off by itself. I'm keeping my dealer appt for Monday to let them look at it and tell me what happened.

Never leave home with out my AAA card, the one time I used my AAA it paid for a 100 mile tow that if I had to pay for it on a weekend night it would of cost me over $1,000.

Within the last month a recall was issued by RAM for this very purpose. I also had 2 random shut downs. It is recall 37A and takes about 2 hours to reprogram the onboard truck computer.
