Hey everyone thanks in advance. Yep I just registered here and just bought my 2021 Ram 2500 6.4 and love it! I've put about 250 miles on it not towing and can't seem to get out of the 11-11.9 average mpg range on the highway? That sound about right? Not a huge deal as I'll be using it to tow my Race Rig. Please share any MPG averages you have for your similar 2500 6.4, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks
I have a 2020 power wagon and get 14-16mpg highway if I drive conservatively using cruise control. I also only use 93 octane gas. If you are using regular, I would imagine getting getting 10-12 would probably be normal.

I don't trust the EVIC because it lies... mine is 1-2 mpg optimistic.
I track everything through Fuelly.
I hand calculate every fill up as well. my truck evic is about 1 mpg optimistic too once and awhile it will be spot on tho but usually a bit high

2020 2500 6.4. 11.2 - 12.0. I do a lot of idling in my truck + I'm in the Ozarks so we get twisty ups and downs that never end.

Mine is 2020 3500, 6.4 and 4.10 with a 9' service/utility bed . Truck weighs 9k lbs and I consistently get 12 mpg mixed highway/city driving. A recent all highway trip got 14+ at 80-85mph. Couldnt be happier with the truck.

I just made a 1300 mile trip in my brand new 2021 Ram crew cab 4X4 6.4 and reached 18 mpg!

I keep the speedometer off and the fuel economy display up on the instrument cluster to keep an eye on my milage and driving methods. This way I'm staying out of the throttle and it's a win win situation!

My 2021 3500 CCLB 4x4 with 3.73’s has been getting 13-15 around town and high teens on the highway. I have gotten over 20 mpg on a few occasions with the cruise on and “keeping my foot out of the 4 barrels” as my Dad used to say lol.

I have a 2019 with 2500 6.4 with 4.10 gears, 5699 miles. I average 10.5mpg, have gotten up to 11.5 when babying it. But I only drive it on the highway while towing my camper, the rest is around town.

19 PW. I get 9. But its all around town stop and go traffic. 15 mpg on the hwy. But i didn't buy it for gas millage. Question? Higher octane make a difference with performance and mpg.

On my GC (Grand Cherokee) with the 5.7, regualr gas gets the same gas mileage in cool or cold weather as Premium. In real hot weather 80F and above it gets 3 to 4 mpg better with Premium, as it does when I am in the mountains. I can't feel a power difference. The new 6.4 in the truck I am running on 91 Octane for now to set a base line. (I can buy 91 or 93 cheaper than most 89 Octane gas. Regualr is about 4.80a gallon here, 89 is 5.96, and 91 is 6.28. If I buy 91 Octane at the right place, like costco, I can get it for 5.16, so not a lot more than 87. Buying at most stations you need to see a pretty big difference to justify using the higher Octane.) When I get to 2000 Klms I will switch to 87 and see if the mileage changes.

Hot weather, high altitude or aggressive driving have been the key determinants in all my vehicles that use Premium. All of them run just fine on 87 Octane under the right conditions, so I switch back and forth according to the driving conditions.

Newsom's got a war on the internal combustion engine here in California. $4.39 average for regular. It looks like the dems are happy with that and other draconian practices so he'll get in again. Mine's a '07 5.9 Cummins. I average 13/14 mpg with my 2200# popup,285's and a 3' lift. Diesel's a little bit cheaper but...

The 14 seems to be my average for a mix of highway and city. 12 in town in not unusual. On all highway I'd say 16 to 18 per the computer if I stay below 75. I expect no more than 16 on the highway at below 75 calculated by paper and pencil.

I have a 2021 Ram 2500 4x4,6.4 and loaded with my 5th wheel I am averaging 9.5 mpg. I haven't driven it unloaded for anything but around town and get 10 to 12 mpg sofar. I am coming into this truck from a 2017 2500 2wd with 5.7 that I pulled a 8500 lb. travel trailer, getting average of 7.5 mpg towing. Besides haveing more towing power I am totally in love with the other things about this truck. The carplay is a great addition for me as well as the satellite radio.

I don’t know where you guys are driving. My pw is a 2021 and I’m at like 8.5. My 2013 1500 was around 12 with same city commute. Jeep on 37s was around 12.5 with same commute. Just FYI. I love it but just being honest with it.

2020 2500 6.4 w/ 3.73 and I average 11.5 - 12.5 mixed. I've seen 15 on a 250 mile mostly highway trip.

I've got the same rig, 3.73 rear end. Best ever commuting was 19 mpg based on gas used and miles (ultimate accuracy). Pulling my 7K# boat, I get 10-11, with my camper, 13. Around town, 13-15. I'm happy with that as my Chevy Avy didn't do any better and this thing is a hot rod compared to that! 20" factory tires, 8 speed trans
