This is nearly identical to my experience.Agreed it is too early to get a good read. Mine is a 2018 with 4.10's and I have the 6 speed so won't be quite as good as you would get but as said, alot depends on driving style. Look at the bottom of my post at my fuelly. I am averaging about 12.1 over about 15,000 miles and that includes about 700 miles of towing ~ a 9000lb trailer. My EVIC typically reads about .5 higher than my hand calculated but has been as far off as being .5 better than my EVIC read to 2 MPG worse than the EVIC read.
I typically see about 12.0 around town and about 16.5 on the highway but I am typically around 70MPH. If I backed it down a little I'm sure I could get better. Towing 9000lbs I get about 8.0MPG or so
In addition, I've found that sitting idle really kills mpg (more than I'd expect). So if I leave the truck running for 15 minutes while hooking up the trailer, loading the dogs and other last minute things, it uses a surprising amount of gas for going nowhere.
