2022 ram 1500 classic SLT P2122 code

My ram has 60,000 miles. I got intermittent code P2122. Replaced APP Sensor. code still pops up
checked wiring. nothing is pinched or frayed.

why am i still getting code?
please help

code is intermittent. usually comes on after 2 months.
resets after restarting truck

I might be taking a close look at the wiring connectors for loose pins, corrosion and tightness.

Have you tried the re-calibration procedure?

Modern Gas Trucks (e.g., 5.7L / 6.4L Hemi)

1. Close all doors and sit in the driver's seat. [1]
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (position 2), but do not start the engine. For push-button start, press the button twice without your foot on the brake. [1]
3. Wait about 10 to 15 seconds for warning chimes to stop and for the throttle body to complete its initialization. [1, 2, 3]
4. Slowly press the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor. [1, 2]
5. Slowly release the pedal back to its resting position. [1]
6. Turn the ignition to OFF and wait at least 10 to 15 seconds for the computer (PCM) to save the parameters. [1, 2, 3]
7. Start the engine and let it idle for about 5 minutes without touching the gas pedal so the system can complete the Idle relearn procedure. [1]
