2022 Ram 1500 tow mode camera for canopy

I put a canopy on my 2022 Ram 1500 Limited Crew cab and my rear view mirror is useless. Has anyone installed a camera on your canopy and hooked into the tow mode feature on your mirror.
My truck is equipped with the digital mirror however I do not have the bumper connection for plugging in a camera for a trailer. The mirror uses the cab camera by the cargo lights. I would like to tie into this camera so when selected will use the camera on the canopy.

Bumping this old thread as I'm also looking to see if anyone has suggestions for this. I have the same rearview mirror camera option and I'm installing an A.R.E. shell and was curious if anyone has suggestions for an after market solution to mount on the shell?
