2023 1500 Quad Cab Classic Cap

I had an ARE fiberglass cap put on my truck and it didn't fit properly, work purchased the cap via the vin number for the truck and ARE states they sent the right cap. The front top of the cap hits the top of the truck cab. ARE would not budge on sending the correct cap. Now work purchased a LEER cap and have the same issue. Ordered the cap again using the VIN number for the truck and the same thing happened. Do I need to order a different year cap in order for the body lines to match up? I'm lost, please help if you can!!

You or someone ordered a Cap online or by phone,
When you could have driven 8 to 10 miles & ordered a cap in person ?

Via phone with VIN. It’s a work truck. Work did the ordering. If you’re not going to help then keep the unrelated comments to yourself

GT did help. Two different mfgs couldn’t send the proper cap. Send them back and buy locally.

Op,

I put the ARE cap off my 2011 on my 2024 Warlock Classic and it fit perfectly. I did not use the VIN. Maybe I got lucky?

I don't even shoes online.

If i used a shoe store measuring too, that is marked off in inches..
I would get 9 1/2" shoes or boots.
I can walk into Walmart & the shoe that fits would be size 11 wide

Walk into an auto parts store & tell the Clerk, that you have a Quad Cab Ram 1500.
Their catalog only goes by feet & inches
Which would be 6' 4"
They will still ask if that is a 8 foot or 5 foot 7 inch bed

It seems crazy, but what they read, does not compute
