I'm struggling to confirm which part # I need for a stock 23 PW front shock. Bilstein website only lists 5160's and Thuren Fab only lists rear 5100's? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would think either of those places would have the proper part numbers.

From Zeb at Thuren in response to my similar inquiry:

"The [5100] shocks that are compatible with our coils are 24-185776."

Plug in your info, you'll get the OEM part number.

I spoke with two different guys at Thuren and neither could offer a part # for the front with stock coils. I did a bunch of digging and research and this is it based on the lengths compared to OEM and what different websites offer. 24-268639

Check with suspension lifts out of Canada. I got my 5160 shocks for my stock suspension and they are valved just for the power wagon. I am sure they also have 5100s

I had Bilsteins on a lot of GM vehicles as OEM equipment. Those shocks, 4600 series always had an appropriate GM part number on it. When I called Bilstein, they gave me the aftermarket equivalent part number. While the OEM GM shocks were protected with a 3/36,000 mile warranty, the aftermarket replacements carried a limited lifetime warranty. Same shock, different number with a different warranty. As a side note, the Bilsteins on my 1992 Chevrolet Z71 sport side were changed at 150K miles and were still good. I had to drill a hole in the monotube to release the gas and dispose of them. They looked like 150K mile shocks, but still performed well. The replacement shocks were a little stiff for a few months, but they eventually settled down. BTW, I feel I worked them well. They towed my two boats and dirt bikes in the woods. Also fished the truck on the beach.

That's why I sent him to get the OEM part number. Hopefully he figured it out.
