Below are photos of my 2024 Warlock 1500 classic. I was not happy with how the 20s looked on the truck and wanted a more 4x4 look.
When I ordered the truck 17s were an option but the tires were 33s. I knew if I selected these as wheel /tire combination
I would still change them out and would end up selling the 17s, whereas I have a use for the 20s on another truck.
So with that plan sorta in my head, I embraced looking for 17s and 35 inch tires.
Most 35s, I looked at appeared to be too wide for what I was trying to do forcing me into spacers, longer wheel studs or a lift kit. All of which I wanted to avoid.
My focus was on a potential level, if necessary with Bilsteins F & R.
I'm happy to report, I mounted my 17 x 8 positive 18 offset wheels with 315 70 17 Cooper At3s XLT tires yesterday. At 34.6 inches tall and 12.4 inches wide they fit the fender wells perfectly, did not rub the upper control arm (1/4 inch space), did not rub the front inner fender in back or the sway bar at full lock in front.
My wheels sit exactly where I want at the edge of the fender flares, I was able to keep my form fit Mopar front splash guards and made zero changes to the Warlock stock suspension.
As a confession, I did reach out to @Quick_Shifter and @Adamcr68. Both gave me solid advice, which I promptly ignored so if I have problems in the future then this is 100% on me.
Guys thank you for responding with absolutely solid recommendations.
In summary, stock 2024 ram 1500 classic warlock, 35s, on 17s positive 18 offset, no rub no alterations required at the current time.
I do have bora 10mm hub centric spacers in hand and have not decided if they are necessary. I do know they fit and I have the necessary mounting depth to avoid changing wheel studs.
Thanks
