I have a 2025 1500 and am looking for recommendations for running boards - fixed, not powered, and not bars. Normally I like to go with factory options, but $650 for the basic Mopar ones seems a bit steep. There isn't a lot out there for 2025 yet, but the Mopar part says it fits 2019-2025, so I think ones for 2024 will work. I was going to get the cheap APS ones, but reviews say only about half of the step is usable as it doesn't stick out far enough, although I don't want it sticking out too far. Plus it sounds like the hardware they come with is really cheap, and some people had installation issues. Usually you get what you pay for, and I do like to go with name brands, but prices are all over the place, some seem crazy high. But if it's worth it I can do it. I did see a recommendation for some Rough Country ones but that's it.

Note that I gave my ramps to my son-in-law, and my jack broke, and my truck is not lifted. Will it be a pain to install?

I went the inexpensive route with some Ionic nerf bars. I'd rate them about a B. They look and work ok, but I don't like how low the support bracket hangs.

My step-son went with GoRhino RB20 (I think) on his 2023 Laramie Sport and they look great and are a little narrow on the step up - if you prefer.

Both purchased from RealTruck which shows plenty of options for 2025 models

Installation is very simple on both as the RAMs have preinstalled lugs under the cab.

Dare I say this and I'll wash my mouth out with soap afterwards, but Amazon actually has some good options. Go look for APS IB-D4178A iBoard They are flat boards, price is about $200, I've owned them on a previous truck, install is easy, and for the price you can't beat them

Thanks very much. I was just looking at the Iconic ones. I initially went to RealTruck and they had so many options I didn't know where to start, and not familiar with most of those brands. And most only had a few reviews. But now that I'm getting a little more familiar with things I'll take another look.

I actually was looking at that or a similar APS one but wasn't sure about a couple things. I'll keep it on my list, thanks.

Has anyone been using the "Raptor 6" Black OEM Running Boards" from Realtruck.com?
Is the quality there?
Looking for my 2025 RAM1500 Quad cab. I want good footing.
Thanks
