Got it, U said U just brought home a 2026, and it does the same. Seems like, all the things going off when PPL approach, open door, gotta be something in there that is similar in all these incidents, and since U got a brandee new, was the only thing my Boird brain could think of. Gotta be a setting somewhere that is set the same and setting off the "Boirdee" Chirp. Have U tried to localize and figure out where the "chirp" is coming from? That prob be a 2 person investigation: One to cause it and one to be a super sleuth, just saying, probably crawling all over and being a contortionist.

If not that, than c'est la vie???

Don't know about the Chirp, but the ZZZT sound is the Parking Brake engaging. Turn Off Automatic Parking Brake and see if that helps.

But you would not get that chirp, ref brake, and U either need to be belted in and/or push on the panel button to disengage E brake. Just not do if U just open door.

HATE to say, not want to get hated on, but I do find the whole topic amusing, maybe cause I got a 2019 and not got that issue, whateva is going on. Gotta snicker a lil. It just does not make sense, why I think some proximity sensors losing their mind, but wat do I know, I's just a Boird.

It is inconsistent. The same action doesn’t always produce the double-quack. I just went out to the garage, with fob in pocket. It has been about 2 hours since I parked it there.

1) Without starting the engine, I used the fob to lock and unlock the doors. No quack.
2) I opened the driver door. No quack.
3) I popped the hood with the lever under the steering wheel, since the sound seems to come from front left engine compartment. Double quack sound when I popped the hood!
4) I raised the hood after releasing the latch under it. No quack.
5) I pressed the fob to lock the doors. Double quack sound. Confirmed that it comes from front left engine compartment. It seems to be coming from somewhere below and in front of the fuse box in that corner, maybe somewhere down near the rear of the headlight assembly but not sure.

I’m not really a “car guy”, so I can’t tell what most of the stuff in that area is, other than the black fuse box at the top.

I also had been keeping the digital access card in the truck (since I don’t plan to pay for the service after 30 days). I removed the card from the truck last night, and it doesn’t seem to have made a difference.

Just friggin weird. I emailed my son, who has a 2025 Biggyhorn. HE said no quack, not saying what he said to me about the sound, but confirmed no quack. But he does not have any of the higher trim stuff like proximity alert, and other high trim options. SO is it just the higher trims?

I've tried turning everything off that I could find in the uConnect menu. Still chirps. It is definitely under the hood. Hopefully a TSB gets issued to eliminate this stupid noise.

Service found nothing wrong. My salesman said his demo made the same noise and has heard it many times on other new Rams.

Shows U this web is informed. I believe this phenomenon is only higher trim Rams like mid level up like I said above my son has a Biggyhorn no chirp. So has to be to do with something that is installed in the higher trim packages than the more base models. Just opinion/observation.

Glad my 2022 5.7L w/o eTorque doesn't do this & looking at it keeping for a long while. This random double chirp stuff sounds annoying as heck.

Remove that digital card from the truck and/or put in a Faraday bag and see if the chirping still exists or stops. Any FOBS in truck range put in pouch also. You would be surprised on how far that truck can read your FOB in a house or wherever.

So...truck has been sitting in the garage for 12 hours, key fob is in the cup holder, electronic key card is in the house nowhere near the truck.
Out of the blue it does the double chirp...zzzt zzzt...whatever you want to call it...3 times within about 2 minutes.
All I can do at this point is chuckle

Something is waking a system. U have the FOB in the truck, try removing the FOB from the truck and put in Faraday bag with the digital key.

The only one of these 3 I have is the remote start. It is set to beep the horn twice, no chirp.
