I'm gonna speculate that rerouting the piping brought it closer to the cabin floor where there probably isn't enough noise deadening material to have the pipes mounted that close.

Took my truck in today to my buddy's exhaust shop. Turns out the pipes where closer to the floor of the bed causing some drone. He changed the angle a bit so it's not as close. I gotta say its 95% gone. I would hear it more when my a/c was on, and now I dont

Thanks for the update. Good to know.

I took my truck in the a new shop today and had him install a 26" helmholtz resonator (capped off piece of 2" pipe, welded onto the existing 3" exhaust pipe). I read about this on the internets and thought it would solve my problem. It didn't. I am going to try and modify this a little to be able to make it longer to see if it helps. I read alot of success stories with this stopping drone, but with my luck it won't do anything for me.

I looked under my truck to see if I could lower my piping and I don't think I could, if it was any lower it would sit below my frame.

Anyone know of any sound deadening material I can put on the underside of my truck that would last?
