OK, so my truck is making a popping noise when I put it into reverse. Crawl up under it and give the driveshaft a good shake... Carrier bearing has about 1/4" of slop in it. Time to drop the shaft and take it to the shop...

Do I ask for Timken, DEA, or Mopar?

I'm tempted to go with Timken, they have been top quality for many many years. Any reason to go with Mopar instead? Any other suggestions??

Yeah, you pretty much confirmed what I was thinking... Just wasn't sure if there was any great big difference that I should be aware of...

Thanks!
