2500 Sport Appearance Package

My ADD is already kicking in, and I'm considering selling my 2015 1500 and stepping back up to a 2500 with a Cummins. I have always preferred the sport look with painted bumpers, and have a seen a few very nice looking sport 2500's here lately. I'm just curious how many of you opted for this package, and wouldnt mind seeing some pics of the different colors out there before I pull the trigger. Right now, I'm leaning toward the Granite Crystal.

Mine isn't a new 2500 with a sport package but it is a 2012 Limited that I've fully color matched. It will give you a similar idea to what you're looking for especially since it's mineral grey which is just a bit lighter than the granite crystal. Here's a few pictures:

I like the sport hood, but I'm not so crazy about the sport front bumper on a 2500.

That is a half ton. The sport appearance package on the 2500's has the same bumper every other 2500 has, it is just painted to match. They also do not offer the 1500 sport hood on the 2500 either. They are identical to every other 2500, just with painted bumpers, grille, door handles, mirrors, black projector headlights, and black 20" wheels.

what trim is a sport package available?

Its available on almost every trim package, but only in a few colors. I really wanted the blue streak pearl, but they do not offer that color in the sport appearance package on the 2500.

The Sport Appearance Group is only available on the Laramie trim on the 2500 and 3500 single rear wheel trucks.

It has color matched bumpers, black mirrors, black badges and black 20" wheels.

In the pic, the wheels almost look the same color as the paint but they were very dirty. They are black.

I know James at rsd just picked up a deep red one. Never was a fan of red but with color matched bumpers it looks really sharp

My local dealer had a white and delmonico red on the lot. Delmonico red was my favorite. They didn't last long either.

I know James at rsd just picked up a deep red one. Never was a fan of red but with color matched bumpers it looks really sharp

My sales rep finally found one in the Granite Crystal, and the only option it has that I dont care for is a sunroof. Sticker is $66k, so I'm going to go in on Monday to see what kind of numbers we can put together.

I am running the Pure Performance X-Factor 3" lift with Fox 2.0 shocks. PP is the sister company of Rock Krawler, a pretty well known manufacturer of lifts for Jeep Wranglers. I used their stuff on my 2012 Rubicon Unlimited and felt pretty comfortable going back to them when I bought the Ram.

Funny you should ask about tires. I've been considering my options today and think I have decided on Toyo Open Country A/T II's in 35x12.50R20. Hopefully they fit fine with the factory wheels and don't rub any. If they do, I'm probably going to order some AEV Katla wheels.

Nice truck and setup. 35's will definitely finish it off nicely. You'll likely rub the sway bar and radius arms with 35x12'5's on the stock wheels at full lock but it won't be anything too crazy. Parking lots will really be the only issue.

Looking at the exact same truck and color - stickers for close to same but with dealer incentives and rebates it drops it down to $55k and some change.

That's where it looks like it comes down to over here as well. Now its just a matter of coming to an agreement on the value of my trade. They offered $31k, but a local car buying dealer offered me $34k. I'm going to see if they will match it for me.
