2500 Towing technology package and LED headlights

Hello all. First post! This is in regards to factory LED day time running lights.

I’m researching a 2022 Ram 2500 tradesman. Watching YouTube videos I found in model year 2020, the Towing Technology Group included LED reflector headlights. However, while specing out a 2022, they are not included in the same package… or any other package that I can see.

Are the LED day time running lights standard equipment now for 2022 tradesman? I don’t see them listed either. Here are the pictures of the equipment group for comparison. Thank you! Lou

Not sure 100% but with all of the parts/chip shortages and auto makers taking several options away from vehicles currently, I would be shocked if they made it standard. In fact I'm almost 100% sure on that, because they aren't standard on bighorn and that would be a trim level higher.

Should be able to tell by the headlights though, if it doesn't have led headlights (in the lighting package, I guess that was an option in the past but may no longer be available?) it won't have led day time runners. Look at a Laramies headlights and compare them to the tradesman you're looking at. Same headlights would mean you have the premium lighting package, otherwise, you'd have the standard halogen headlights which I believe would just use the halogen bulb for the drl.

Also, by any chance can I see the full window sticker for that 2020? Looks like it's really loaded for a tradesman, I admittedly don't have a ton of knowledge of that trim level but I'm shocked to see it available with surround view cameras.

You can order the tech package on the tradesman. It’s on the ram build site. This is the reason I’m looking at the tradesman… you can get all the tech but none of the fluff of upper trims
