2wd 8hp70 from ECD converted to 4wd Hemi

I’ll start off by saying I’m not a mechanic, nor do I do any mechanic work, I’m just looking for some clarity on a transmission question. I have a 2014 Ram 1500 4wd with a 5.7 & 8spd. Transmission is acting up so I started looking for a used one. I found a preowned, but new in the box 8speed. The catch is, it’s for a 2wd Ecodiesel. It is the same 8hp70 model as mine. I assume there’s a difference in maybe the bolt patterns from hemi to ECD, but I’m wondering if I can still convert this for a 4wd hemi? The price is right with the new transmission, which is why I’m entertaining the idea of it. Any information or comments will help, thanks!

Nope,the 2wd transmission doesn't have the correct tailshaft to bolt your transfer case to,and it's not easy to swap them,the transmission basically has to be totally disassembled to swap tailshaft housings.
Keep looking for a 4X4 8 speed
