3/4 ton & 1 ton axles?

are they the same? are the rear and front ends the same? when I say same I mean size.. will the guts from a 1 ton rear end fit my 3/4 ton or vise versa? Thanks fellas.

Did someone find a wrecked 3500 and wants to swap to 4:10s???

Since you are a 2014 I am assuming you are talking about that year. The front axles are identical inside and out. The rear axle internals are identical from a 2500 to a 3500 srw, the only difference will be leaf Springs vs coil springs in the rear. The 3500 drw uses the 11.8 axle though which will fit but you limit your gear ratio choices.
