Hi all

I have had a search about on here but couldn't find a suitable thread to read. So I hope this hasn't been talked about before already. But hoping one or more of you could share what's needed.

I needed some new rear springs for my truck. So I've bought what I believe to be a heavy duty set for the rear of my truck.

They got delivered about 3months ago. Put to one side and left. While I got on with the rest that life throws at us.

Had a young enthusiastic mate pop round. So we went for a measure up. As I wanted to try and figure out where and at what height the truck would sit at when installed. Basic measurements worked it out to be pretty much where it is now. Which is great. But thinking of a lift. Was expecting to get them on and then adjust height afterwards.

But looking at them. They looked very meaty heafty springs. So I put a measure across the width. Which threw me a bit. As the stock ones seem to be 3" wide and the heavy duty ones 3.5" wide.

So my question is. Is there a stock bolt on that will work with the new springs I have bought?. Or do I need to modify what's there?. What does everyone else do?.

Cheers Roland
