Come first of the year I’m looking at doing a 3/5 drop with 22s. What size tire will look/for the best for that? I prefer something close to the same height, I don’t mind if they are a little wider. Can someone post pictures of their set up?

If you want a tire in the rear that is the same height as a stock 265/70/17, which is 31.60" tall then a 305/40/22 in the rear would do great.

For the front, a 275/45/22 would give you a tire with the same height as well.

If your truck rolled off of the assembly line with a 275/55/20, which is 31.90" tall, then a 305/40/22 would be really close and only require a small edit to the pinion factor to correct the speedometer.

I have a 2/4 drop with 22" and had to upgrade to performance shocks to keep the front from bottoming out on dips. fwiw

Not dropped but it has 305/45-22 Nitto 420s. I think it would look better dropped but can't have that when I have to get to a Peterbuilt to push snow before most road are plowed. The Pete doesn't fit in my driveway very good.

at pajeepman -drop shackles in the rear would help to level your rig. Regardless, nice ride :)

I would but when I tow my camper it would be squatting in the back, unless I got some helper air bags. Yes, it would look better most of the time if I did drop the back. Thanks for the compliment.

305/40's will look great.

I feel like 305/40 are a little thick in the sidewalls. Also, he may be width limited on wheels which will cause the 305's to look mushroomy on anything less than a 10.5 or 11 wide wheel. For 22x9.5's or 22x10's, and on a 3/5 drop, I'd personally recommend a 285/40R22

Not only is that good enough with the proper tire, but the sidewall will be perfectly straight up and down, AND he'll be able to rotate tires to save on wear and tear.
