i was thinkin of putting a 3" body lift on my truck. dont want to go too much bigger for a lift but want it to sit up a little higher. just curious how big of a job it was...btw what kind of lights do you have behind your grill?

A 3 inch body lift is a pretty big job with the bumper brackets and all the extensions. My lights are hella 500's

Ya theyre pretty bright, theyre pretty popular around here. Theyre more like spotlights though, supposedly they make a fog light version too

Ya they shine far, plus ive got 100 watt bulbs in them. I think theyre like $80 new now? Not positive. I bought them used from another member a long time ago. Check out the vendors here, i know dave(db truck customs) sells them. He can probably get you the lift too at a better price than you can find anywhere else

3" body is a pretty fair job on an older truck. With the condition the bolts will be in its not easy. If you do not have access to air tools it would take a very long time and a huge breaker bar. But it can very well be done. You have to cut the frame and the bumper brackets up front so be prepared to do that as well.
