Well its time I need a tire replacement. I have been out of inspection for the past week. I was going to just get 285/75/16 nitto's but I ordered a "hell bent steel 2.5" for my truck today so would I be able to throw on 315/75/16 on my stock dodge wheels?

Not without rubbing on the control arms. Your gonna need wheel spacers or aftermarket rims.

Measure the back of your truck from the ground to the top of the rear wheel well. Then do the same to the front. subtract the front from the rear and thats the lift you need.

its not the height im worried because I have seen plenty of 2.5" levels keep 35's under fine its that since there 315 not 285's they are alittle wider so im wondering how much more space of wheel spacers i'll need to keep from rubbing my a-arm at full lock

Did you ever get these installed?

I'm curious as well what it looks like.
