so i recently just leveled my truck and put on new 35x12.50r20 Nitto trail grappler Mts. Im just wandering what the best tire pressure is to be used on these. would like them to last as long as possible. Do all driving on pavement besides taking it on the beach which i air down. So if anyone could help that would be great!!!

Good god 48 psi in 35s. I don't think my kidneys could handle that. I always run around 30 in a oversized 10 ply off-road tire. You can run 35 for alittle better mpg on a long trip but you also have to realize that every make of tire has a different rating. I've never had them but my buddy does in a 33 and he typically runs around 32 and he has just fine traction in rain or dry. When you run super hi psi in a tire it's not gunna get good traction no matter how you slice it or dice it

chalk test your tires. as long as they are making even contact with the pavement just set the psi to make your ride/handling the way you like. i would start at 40psi and +/- pressure in 2 psi increments to find your sweet spot.

I have a 2013 Ram Sport Crew with 35/12.5/18 Trail Grapplers installed at Kal Tire and they recommend 50 psi.

Just bought the same tire in a 35x12.50x18, getting the rims and tires put on the truck saturday. I am waiting to hear back from Nitto on what they recommend.

I have 295/60r20 Nitto Terra Grapplers and run 40psi and it's not a harsh ride at all. Not sure if the carcass is the same as the Trail Grappler... I was suprised. When i ran 35x12.50r17 on my Wrangler Unlimited, it ran 35 psi and it had a nice ride too. Not as nice as the Ram, but for a solid front axle jeep, it rode nice.

Those nitto's have a very stiff sidewall and can handle lower pressure without rolling. especially in a 2-" wheel. I used to run 25-35psi in my 07 2500 cummins... put more in when towing heavy. ran smooth as silk but that was also on 17's

you run 48psi on the same tires i have? or the ones in your pic

Sorry, being on a dozen different car forums I oft forget to preface my comments.

I run 48psi on the same tire, but on a different vehicle of mine. 30PSI felt way to damn soft for me. I know Jeep guys who run it that low. I usually have the rig loaded at all times so that is probably part of why it feels fine.

I wouldn't put those on the Ram in a million years.
