Looking for some more info on tires. I have a 2016 ram 2500 tradesman crew cab with 6.4 and 4:10 gears. Love it so far in having it almost a year now. It's my daily driver, tow on weekends and looking to plow with it.
I've done a few things to it and recently swapped the chrome steel wheels out for factory 6 spoke aluminum. Looks way better. I have the factory 275/70r18 Firestone rwl tires on it. Looking to go up a size. I recently saw a truck like mine with 35/12.5r18. Looked great! My question is would I need a front level kit to clear? I would rather not change the suspension of they will fit. Or recommend another sized that is larger without lifting.
Thanks!

I put the level kit on mine and a 2.5 in in the rear too to keep the rake. I will be going with 35x12.50R20

It is my understanding that you can go to a 35" tire without a level but you have to stick to a 9" wide. - I ended up going with 2" level to go with a 35 x 12.5. I am sure some of the other guys can tell you more (and hopefully confirm) that you can fit 35s with a 9" wide tire. c90065226b44cd56ae1036a892932c41.jpg

Thanks for the info guys! Yeah looking to go bigger than stock tires on my stock 18s.
295/70. 285/75 but was surprised how good the 35x12.5 looked on the truck I saw. Didn't look like it was lifted at all in front either?
Was wondering the clearance on front end.

I had 34.7" tall tires on my 2500 before I leveled it. No problems at all.

Check the tire specs as you may find many are not actually a full 35" tall.
