I'm missing 2 cylinders
Hey guys haven’t been on in a while. Well it was time to get new tires and I previously had the BFG KO2s which were 285 65 20, or something like that. They were 34.6 tall and 11.5 wide on a 20x10 -12 rim. Yesterday I put on 35x12.5 Falken Wildpeak At3w’s.

They had to trim such a small amount I can’t really even tell. Anyways I like these tires my buddy has been running them for a while. feb03c313775b9ff6c0a62d5e10eb512.jpgb7b17af5e0370d0ef71f3c529caea414.jpg344f38c680dda06a8f00447536d57739.jpg

Are you sure you have the -12mm version of the Fuel Nutz and not the -24mm version? They seem to stick out more than I would expect with -12mm, but it could just be the angles of the pictures. You didn't comment on your suspension - any lift? Or leveled? Also, though you can't tell where they trimmed, can you say where the trimming was supposedly done? And any scrubbing at all at full lock?

I'm looking at going from the same tires you had, to 20x10 -19mm wheels with 35's. I may go from a 2.5" level to a 3" RCX lift just to provide a little more room. But I'm wondering where, specifically, if any trimming has to be done, the trimming is needed.

Yes I’ll give more detail sorry bout that. I have a 4.5 inch lift. I do in fact have 20x10 -12. And yes the guy showed me where they trimmed. They trimmed the black plastic piece that runs underneath the bumper.

Um, I'll second Laramiegen4's inquiry. I have 20x10 -24 offset wheels with a true 35x12.5 tire that dont stick out that far. Those look more like a 20x12 -44. Are you running spacers by chance?

No guys, this is a 20x10 -12 no spacers. I do have a 2wd and when you lift it the front tires do get pushed out a little, maybe an inch more than the rears

That explains it! I think all lift spindles for 4x2's increase the front track width at least a little.

Yes, cause look at the rear view the rears really don’t hang out that much

Thanks for clearing that up. After posting, I also noticed it looked like your front wheels were out further than the back. But they all still look further out than -12mm should push them so I was wondering about spacers as well. They fronts look about the same as some 4x4's with -44mm wheels I have seen.

Yeah I have lift spindles and it actually brings it out about 1.5 inches and had to put spacers in the back to even out with the front

Did you use the Bora spacers? How long you had them on and any issues with them? Did you have to trim the studs?

1.5 is the lowest you can go without trimming the studs so no trimming I didn’t go with bora but make sure they are hubcentric has to be hubcentric and I haven’t had any problems no vibrations and it’s been close to a year with them on

Once you put the 1.5 in the rear it will make it perfectly even with the front makes a hell of a difference
