To anyone who has the factory 18 inch rims, will 35x12.50 fit? I just want to make sure they aren't too wide to seat on the rim before I pull the trigger

They fit perfect. 8 or 9 is the perfect width for 12.5's. Any wider on the rim and they start looking stretched.

This is a 315/70R17 which is really close to 35x12.50 just cheaper on a factory wheel

When I had my 07 Megacab, I put on 17" 4th gen wheels. Discount put the tires on the 8" wide wheel, but had to call Nitto to get approved.

Later on, I wanted to do the same and they would no longer do this as the tire on a 12.5" called for a 9" wheel. Would cause the tire to bow out and cause issues..

Now, thinking about it, I could see that being an issue.. but if it's 9" wide.. you shouldn't have any issues..

Also, you could just go to some place that mounts tires and doesn't give a darn what they put them on and be set..

I told Discount I'd sign a wavier! haha they said no.. But again, they are only doing that for the safety of their customers and covering their butts..
