I mounted my new General Grabber ATx 35x12.50r20s at my brothers work on Saturday. They are mounted in stock sport wheels and yes I needed 1/4” spacers in front. They would have hit the upper control arms because the ball joint area is bigger on the Rough Country UCAs.

2.5” RC level kit and RC Upper Control arms, RC Quick Cal for speedometer and trans (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). I’m going to add 1-1.5” rear coil spacers soon because now it’s got negative rake and it drives me nuts.

I also need to re attach my front mud flaps because the tires rub the fender liners at full lock. I drive through a quarry every day and I like my paint so the flaps will stay.

These tires are super smooth and quiet and look great.

FYI a 35x12.50 spare tire does not fit under the bed with this particular aftermarket trailer hitch.

That looks great! Did you drive the truck at all before you recalibrated the speedometer? I'm curious if you noticed a difference with the trans shifting.

I'm bummed I have the 20x8s now after seeing your truck. I was at discount earlier today and tried to order some 35x12.50 and they said I need a 9in wide rim minimum for that size. Had to settle on 295-65.
Damn it!! Those 12.50s look so good!

Yes I drove the truck for a day with out recalibrating the speedo and trans shift points. The mph were off considerably and get worse as you go faster. The shift points were all messed up and it was taking forever to shift gears. 10 minutes with the quick cal and it was like stick again and there is hardly any negative throttle difference with the 35s.

The tire shop is full of ****. Plenty of people put 12.5s on 8” and even 7” wheels. Find another shop. The 20x8 wheels don’t seem to rub the upper control arms with most 35x12.5s as far as I’ve read on here. They only say 9” because of their own policy. My spare is a 315/70/17 on a stick steel 17x8 wheel. No issues and fits fine. I’ve never had a 9” wide wheel with 35x12.5s on any of my lofted jeeps always 8”.

I bought these wheels because I think they are beautiful and never imagined how good they would look with 35s and I wanted true 35x12.50s like when I had my Cherokee with 5.5” of Lift and 35s.

I’m so happy with how my truck looks I love it!

for 90 bucks you can put some airbags in the back springs and fix the uneven stance of the truck. Your rear end is still lower ( at least it appears that way from the pictures ) than the front.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the kind words! I’ve fallen in love with my truck all over again.

Thought about that but the last set of poly type (firestone) air bags I had cracked and leaked after 2-3 years. Always had issues with air fittings leaking too. I think I’m just going to do a 1-1.5” spacer in back to lift the saggy ass.

I'd recommend a 1in rear spacer. I used the MaxTrax 1.5in rear spacer and I think it is a bit too much of a rake.

Nick@gotexhaust has a good deal on the spacers I used and carries other sizes fyi.

Thank you, I really didn’t want 3/4” or 1.5”, 1” should be perfect.
