Can I use 36x12.5R17 tires on a 2x4, without a lift?

Where I live lift kits are illegal, so I'd like to put some meaty tires on there without rubbing the wheel wells, but will it fit?

I'm talking about these tires (not my truck) :

If not, what are the meatiest tire you guys use without lift? on 17-18-20 inch wheels (I haven't deceided yet).

Thanks!

never mind... I found that even with a 2" key on the IFS trucks, there's a limit on 34" tires, so forget my question... :)

when I go metric, I'm thinking of these sizes :

285/70-18
285/60-20

Any thought without kit, or with 2" keys?

In Belgium. It's stated like that (lift kits are not allowed) and you can get a penalty

The only issue I had at first was very minor right side tire to fender liner rub only on hard right turns. An alignment adjustment solved that.

If you have torsion bars as part of your suspension, ya dont need the KEY lift in order to raise the vehicle 2". I did mine by tightening the torsion arm adjustment bolt. I just leveled mine yesterday.

The leveling kit torsion Keys’s give you more adjustability without making out the stock set
