I have done some searching but looking for a little help. I have a 6" zone lift with bils @2.8. I am running 35's on a 20x9 1 offset and don't like the stance on a lifted truck so I want to go wide. looking for people running either of these setups and how much if any trimming is involved? From what I have read the -44 seems like a long shot to fit with out quite a bit of trimming or more lift. I have seen a few -24s but unsure if anything else is needed. The tires I am looking at state they measure a true 37 and come in at 14 wide and are not offered in a 12.5 wide. Thanks in advance for the help!

6" Procomp with -44 offset, but I have 35's. There was very slight trimming to the lower valance. But, at the time the front shocks were set at a 4" lift. I would have to check when I get home, but I don't think the trimming would have been necessary with the 6" stance.

My vote is for 12” wide wheels. I have 37x13.50x20 toyo MT mall crawler tires on 9” wide XD addict wheels. If my truck didnt come with these wheels, I would have bought 12” wide.
I have 6” RC lift and bils set at 2.8” and didnt have to trim anything. No rubbing either.

If the stance is the issue and you like the wheels and tires, how about hub-centric spacers (BORA)? Cheapest route.

Thanks for the replies! I have seen a couple with the wide stance as jb1 said but I think with a body lift which I don’t really want to do right now anyways. I know I can fit the 35s but I would like to fit 37s if I could. Spacers are an option but still would like to fit the 37s

Do you have a picture from the front? I would like to see how close to even you are with the flares. Really what I would like to do is run 37's that are even or slightly past the flares.

@kowbel11

Have you found any good longevity reviews on those Amp M/T's. I put a used set on my 07 TRX4 once just to try them out since I couldn't find any reviews. They wore down to nothing real quick. They were probably just under half tread when I got them and they were toast (2/32nds) about 9k miles later.

I thought they were a great looking tire, but after that experiment, I realized the nice price would be more expensive in the long run, so I disregarded ever considering a new set. I am curious how many miles someone should expect to get out of them.

Also, after looking at my truck last night, it appeared to me I could clear 37's on a tight turn with no trimming required.

Aside of the look, you'd want the 12" wide with that tire. The 10" wheel won't be wide enough to wear evenly

@MarshRam I haven’t even looked at reviews but apparently I should. I guess they did make some changes to them not sure when though.

If it helps any, I tried the Amps out about 4 years ago. Maybe they aren't so soft anymore!
