Anyone know the tow specs? I wonder if it will go into a gladiator.

I really love high powered toys, and I applaud FCA for having the stones to build a vehicle every other maker would be afraid of.

That said, big power, big tires, and 44 axles... what could go wrong? :D

Of course if Jeep and Ram use the same programming team there will be so many electronic nannies in attendance you’ll need to be geolocated on a straight track with an ambulance on site to get it out of “safe mode”.

They actually upgraded the Dana’s to the wide trac super 44’s should be turning 37 spline axle’s, if not it’ll be at the dealer getting fixed. Loved them Wrangler’s built 3 of my own 1 YJ and 2 TJ’s, stopped buying them when FCA decided to put open differentials in them back in 07. Only a “named” Wrangler, IE: *****’s Wheeler, Islander, Rubicon come with LSD’s. Damn shame.

Sucks the towing is the same but likely based more on wheel base. Hopefully it makes its way into a gladiator eventually so I can pull my TT lol. I love our 19 jl.

I think they ran out of things to stuff a Hellcat in and no one would green light stuffing one into a Wrangler so they were like "well what about a 392 then....? Aftermarket has been doing it for years and we could do it so much better..."

Did I hear correctly the Wrangler Rubicon 6.4L was rated 470 HP/470 ft lb torque? Wonder what happened to 60 HP for the 6.4L in the HD Ram trucks?

The rubicon is using the Jeep spec 392, same as the '12-'14 SRT LD/LC (later ones are 485hp due to slightly revised tuning and electric steering vs hydraulic). The Ram 6.4 is a completely animal. It wasn't designed to be a performance animal, in fact if you look it doesn't even make all that much more power than the 5.7 does (2020 5.7 - 395hp/410tq vs 6.4 - 410hp/429tq). What it was designed to be is an overbuilt/ near unkillable truck engine. Uses the same BGE block the Hellcat does, as well as the same aluminum alloy heads as the Hellcat heads but with the Apache intake bolt pattern (Apache 6.4/392 heads use a different alloy). All of those heads use the same size valves, ports and chamber size.

Kudo's to FCA for expanding their HP ventures. Who else has a 700+ hp SUV or a 4 door car in their line up. And the Challenger has so many different models/HP ratings it's stupid. Now the new Super Sport is limited to 200 units and only licensed NHRA members are eligible to buy them. Apparently quicker than the Demon!! Go MOPAR.........I read that by the end of the '19 season Mopar wanted 1/2 Billion HP on the street. No one else comes remotely close to what they are doing. I think they've won the HP race in this era of muscle. They could use the old '70's/80's Pontiac slogan " We Build Excitement". My brother has a '17 RT Plus Shaker Go Green 6M ( 1 of 1 of 53 built for Canada with the options he has/hasn't) and a built for him '19 *** 6M Red Seatbelts no sunroof/stripe Widebody Hellcat. And yes he did pay the extra $1 for the other seats!!. 1 of 10 in Canada and maybe 4-5 with the manual transmission. Dealerships couldn't order the 6M for their lot on 4 colors and *** was one of them. It had to be a sold unit. It took 2 weeks for the salesman to figure that out- with Dodge Canada's help of course. Then he showed us the other 3 colors that were restricted from that option. When ever he clicked on the 6M option it would come back to an automatic( with the dealership's address of course).
