3rd Brake Light keeps popping

Hello - 2015 Ram Sport with LED lighting. However, my 3rd brake light (upper) appears to pop too frequently. 4-6 months. Is this common? I was thinking about swapping it out to an LED bulb. But, wanted to make sure there isnt another issue.

Very well could be getting water in it. They are prone to leaking.

Replace the glass bulbs with a decent LED. Then apply a thin layer of foam weather stripping around the trim where it sits on the paint.

Remember: red LED’s behind red lenses for vivid bright color.

I agree with "Sheriff Justice", and while you have it off, you could replace the cargo light bulbs with LED's as well. It sure lights up the back .

All great suggestions here. Weather stripped beats a caulking suggestion I've seen (relies on trusting the LEDs to last).

Just changed my weather stripping for the 3rd brake light on my Ram today. Totally preventative what was cool is it literally took 5 minutes.
