I have a 2006 2500 and I am building a custom aluminum tray bed for myself. I want to build a short bed that barely extends past the tires.... save the hate please 
I am wondering if there is a coilover modification or other option to eliminate the leaf springs which would extend out past the bed. Has anyone seen a kit or a fab project that has done this? I am building a camping, expedition, towing rig. I have a vision in my head and want to see if I can make it a reality. Thank you
