Tonight my Lifetime LED 20" Phantom Sun Light Bar (link to LifetimeLED) finally arrived. This is a 15000 lumen, 252W beast!
Lifetime doesn't make brackets for our trucks, but Rigid does (link to Rigid) and Lifetime assured me they would work although the Lifetime bar is about 1" shorter than the Rigid SR-20.
Anyways, I did have to bend the brackets a little and drill the light bar mounting hole a bit for the larger Lifetime mounting screw; but overall it went smoothly. I connected to my upfitter AUX2 switch with a 40A fuse in it's holder; and programmed the switch to use battery instead of ignition as the source.
Tried to shoot some after dark photos with my phone; I'll have to try again with a real camera sometime.
Based on a short drive around this thing basically gives you full high beams with a longer reach and wider spread. Leaving low beams on gives you a really nice wide field of view, especially on a narrow country road when you want to see what's about to jump out of the ditch...
