Just installed new ring &pinion, went from 3.73 to 4.56, I have 35"x18 tires &wheels, on a Ram2500HD 5.7 Heml, WOW With the tune from Hemifever and all the bolt ons. This truck is a BEAST, FOR you guys runing big tires &wheels with high gears, try a gear SWAP, loving truck all over again, even though it only has 4000 miles,

Questions for you.

I have 3.55 and personally hate them. Usually I have 3.92 factory but I feel upgrading to 3.92 or even 4.10's will work for me.

Did you do this install yourself?

Any pictures at all? If not I understand.. it's easy to jump into something and just wanna get it done.

If you didn't do it yourself where did you go and how much?

Also is your truck a 4x4? If so how bad was the front diff?

Thanks.

How did they make a carrier for the front diff? I thought it was only possible by replacing the whole assembly with a used one?

Yes no new carrier, everything went with out a problem, I was afraid to do the job myself, because everyone said in mn it was alot of extra work, talked to randys ring &pinion said it wasn't a problem at all, dealer mckays dodge in st.cloud mn quoted me 8000 bucks, told them that was the last vehicle I or anyone I know would buy from that hole! !!! Do not let the week shops tell you it costs alot,
