Is the dealer obliged to give me the 4 digit pin code associated with my vehicle if I ask for it?

Yes, and they may do it for free or they may charge you. Up to them.

If you are the vehicle owner you are able to obtain the pin code for Free. The dealer is not allowed to charge you. If they try, call corporate.

They are only allowed so many per day so you might have to wait till they don’t have a new vehicle show up fir service that needs it.

I got the dealer's General Manager involved and right away they gave it to me after they made me wait like an idiot for it. I showed him the above letter and he wasted no time in getting the parts and service managers to give me my pin ... don't let them charge you and don't let them give you any bs ...

No, they are not obliged to give you the PIN. FCA gives them permission to share it with a registered owner, but that doesn’t mean they have to, and they can charge whatever they want for providing the service. FCA also limits the dealer to the amount of times per day they can request PINs, so some might not give it out at all in case they have customers that day that need fobs programmed. You can hear all the testimonials you want about people easily getting their pin for free with no issue, but until you go to your particular dealer, you won’t know for sure. If you get turned down, or they want to charge you more than $15, then just get the Chrysler PIN Puller app from the Google Play Store.
