Really? Damn... I have bils up front set at 2.1. Thinking of going with a 4in lift and setting them at 2.8 and adding a spacer to the rear. I'm on 22in hellcats so I need the room to fit some tire

Yeah if I had the option of using Bilsteins I’d be doing it and setting them at 1.4

Coming here and asking us to help you spend money is like going into a crack den and asking if you should smoke crack [emoji1787]

The art of falsifying reasons to need mods is an art and can’t really be taught lol. But you could always use some sort of safety reason. Like you’ll sit higher and better for driving off road if a zombie apocalypse happens. Sorry, when it happens

Maybe you can sell her on the bilsteins at 2.8 and 1.75 in rear. Should be around $1000 with zone UCA’s [emoji106]. Somewhat stock looking

Man aint this the truth! Don't worry, I've got the reasons stretched from a safety standpoint! The whole reason I told the wife I needed the Ridge Grapplers was for safety in the winter. Now I've got to kick it up a notch and tell her we would be even more safe if we were a few inches up in the air! ;-)

I don't have a suspension lift.... I do go off road ( now and then) and have had no issues, but I'm not twistin' my suspension all up. I have bilsteins set at 2.8, 3/4" TGC spacers on rear and 1.5" zone body lift. 35" BFG KO All Terrains works just fine... 4" total for less than half the price of a suspension lift

Hey guys, new to the forum and looking for a little help?

I've got a 2017 Ram 1500 4x4 crew cab and I'm considering lifting it 4 inches. However, the wife is not a big fan and I'm trying to find some pics or video's that might show her how the lift looks next to regular 1500's or other trucks? I'm trying to explain to her that its not going to look like some of the 6, 8, or higher inch lifts out there that really stand out. To put things in perspective my brother in-law purchased a used F-350 HD and that thing sits high and I'm trying to convince her that it shouldn't be much bigger than that. Any help would be appreciated!

Ha ha. [emoji122]. My buddy had the exact same truck as mine. Except he had a 2.5 inch lift all around and 35’s. His looked like a beefier version. Very subtle but noticeable for guys like us. The average person would think it’s stock most likely

Try doing this. Go to custom offsets and in the advanced criteria put in 4” lift and 35 tires. Do the same search with “level kit” so on. Good database of truck pictures

That is exactly what I do and have been doing since I started thinking about lifting my truck ... you can see every possible combination of lifts with wheels and tires... great site for ideas !

Man that looks exactly like what I'm after! :favorites13: Nice ride and wheels! What offset are you using?

Those are factory 20x9’s. Back in the day (2012 iirc) they were first available on the Laramie Longhorns, then a couple years later on the first Laramie Limiteds........now on the Harvest Editions. Seemed like they’d “disappear” for a year or 2.........always been a big fan of this particular factory wheel!

traded my 16 quad cab express for this 14 sport crew cab. has RC 4" lift, mopar cold air intake and borla exhaust. stock sport wheels with 35x12.5 duratracs. not too bad getting into and out. can load 2 car seats no problem. power steps would be nice though. but not a deal breaker. perfect combo if you ask me. 41.5" ground to bottom of wheel well in front, 42" in rear

Here is my wifes 2019 Ram 4x4 Laramie Longhorn. It has a 3.5 inch lift, not leveled, 22 inch wheels, 35x12.5 Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. 20181119_140556.jpg 20181119_143622.jpg 20181119_140556.jpg 20181119_143622.jpg

Wait, so what is the total height of your lift. 4" ?

Here's the thread with stock height and then bils/body/tires: https://www.ramforum.com/posts/1809943/

short version: original measurements:
Before ground to fender straight up center of the wheel
LF: 36.25" RF: 36.75"
LR: 39 RR: 38.5

My fender measurements are now 41 3/4 front, and 42 1/2 rear- both left and right are the same.

I have a 4" Superlift kit on my Ram and this year got Bilstein 5100's which I set at 1.4".

Here is mine new at dealer before delivery.
