4 post lift

Any advise on 4 post lift brands. They all seem to be about the same specs and price range. Looking at an garage lift in the 7-8,000 pound range.

I would only buy either a Nussbaum or Mowhawk.
All these other lifts are China ****.
Nussbaum is German.
Mowhawk USA.
If you can’t get a new one find a used one.
Stay away from cable lifts.

And even sometimes when you are

I find a drive over pit is a good alternative

Having worked professionally as a mechanic since I was 14 until now which is 48 years and own a Snap On 20 year old hydraulic lift I find the two most most advantageous. The Ford dealer had two post. There was a garage I worked in had the four post but strictly alignment. There are limitations with them.
