I have the manual shift in the floor. It goes directly to the transfer case. It shifts OK there.

Just to be sure we are on the same page.

What is not happening? You are not getting he front wheels to pull? You are not getting the 4wd light to cone on?

I did my posi lok on my back in the driveway and I could not see the fork go over the collar.

It only has to move an 1/8"

Have you verified the actuator is attempting to move on the truck?

It could be possible that the collar is not sliding over the outer axle.

Just need a but more insight to what the actual issue is and how you know you do not have 4wd.

I will go back through the thread again to see.

I did mine on a 99. My 4wd light is now unhooked. But I know i have 4wd as soon as I pull the lever as I locked the CAD on.

Having the posi lok is cool though...as it allows for 2wd low range.

I also searched and did not see an availability foe the 2013 plus trucks. But i have seen a posi lok installed on 3 different 4th Gen 2500s

I would almost assume the case is identical...but not sure.

I just read the entire thread and have the same questions as above......what exactly is happening? If you are in mud do only the rear tires spin and the fronts do not? How did this mechanic determine the actuator needed replaced? Did he actually do some basic diagnostics or just unload the parts cannon on it (i.e. randomly replacing parts hoping to get lucky)? The 4wd systems are pretty easy to diagnose and pinpoint where the problem is. Don't take this wrong as these questions and comments are more directed at the "mechanic" than the OP.
