40" LED bar

So I got coming in a day or so a 40" LED Bar flood/spot combo. Has anybody used ddm's before? I should have asked that to start. It's significantly cheaper than rigid and usually you get what you pay for.

Also my brother said I should put it lower on the bumper basically where the tow hooks would go, but I wanted to put it up top above the windshield, and I'm thinking of doing that either way, all the brackets I find for that are designed for 50" bars, unless you use spacers, has anybody used any spacers? Do they look good? Or did I shoot myself in the foot?

40" for the bumper.
50" for the roof.

Do you have a 1500? Will a 40" fit between the tow hooks?

I do have a 1500, it won't fit between them, but it's just a bit smaller than the black plastic covering the tow hook spots which I have, I don't actually have two hooks, but it's 3 inches tall so it will have to sit out front of the bumper

you could always use magnet mounts to mount it on the roof, there a couple trucks around here set up like that and likely what ill end up doing one day
