Hello
I have ram 2500 heavy duty model year 2003 with 5.9 cummins and my transmission is slipping. Only on 2WD and 4HI. 4LO works perfectly. I guess my transmission is 48RE.

What could cause slip? Is there quick fix or temporary fix? Or does it need full trans rebuild?

I'm going to say the transmission is slipping when in 4X4 Low also, due to the gear reduction you don't notice it as much. You probably need to have the transmission rebuilt.
