Hello everyone I have a few questions

Are these stock projector headlights?
Everything I look up says that my model shouldn’t come with stock projectors..

I want to purchase aftermarket headlights

But they all have a heads up that they won’t fit I have stock projectors?

Any recommendations on aftermarket headlights? IMG_3731.jpeg

I've got a 23' Warlock and my headlights are the same as yours.

Quality aftermarket headlights are not inexpensive, and "may require" the AlphaOBD system to make possible adjustments so the truck likes what you've done.

Morimoto and AlphaRex are two that come to mind

Yup, those are Projector Housings, same as mine.

I reviewed many aftermarket LED bulbs and decided to try Fahren low-profile bulbs after reading the many success stories here at Ram Forum.

They were inexpensive and came with a 3-year replacement warranty. IIRC, I will be at 3 years this Fall and still very happy.

I did eventually buy a set of low-profile Auxito bulbs for the high beams because of a sale and slightly higher lumen output, at the time.

They were plug-and-play, but after a year or more, I could see a barely detectable flicker in one light. I already owned AlfaOBD, and switched the lights from incandescent to LED; problem solved.

Be sure to follow a headlight alignment procedure after the upgrade. Don't be that guy blinding the oncoming traffic.

This is what I used;

Thank you. They are marked ram so I figured they were stock everything else I read just said other wise. Yes I was thinking alpharex but even then seen the note stating that they wouldn’t work if they were stock projectors.

I guess that’s where the AlphaOBD comes in?

All Rebel/Warlock models come standard with projector headlights. If you want to confirm if they are aftermarket or not, look at the side of the projectors and see if they have the Ram logo on them. If they do, then they’re the factory/original headlights, if they don’t, then they’re most likely replica/aftermarket headlights.

Not necessarily.

I specifically identified the low-profile version of the Fahren bulbs because of the limited clearance on the back cover of the housing.

The space limitation is most noticeable on the high-beam bulb position, but both are cozy.

In other words, regardless of the chosen bulb manufacturer, unless they are specifically identified as low-profile or a guaranteed fit for your housings, you might get stuck.

The threads are filled with members who were forced to install aftermarket oversized back covers on the housings because they couldn't secure them over the bulb's base.

This is an older Fahren pic. Using this specific height of bulb was as close as I would be comfortable using in these housings, especially for the high beam position.

I believe that any bulbs even slightly larger could prove problematic because a limited clearance and could result in overheating.

^^^ THIS!!!

I went with the Farhan low profile LED's in my highs and lows in my stock Warlock projector headlights and the output is great!

Zero issues with fitment utilizing the stock OEM dust covers, and not a single issue with them acting up with my truck as they come canbus ready and are complete plug-n-play.

Do ensure that you clock them and adjust the heights accordingly to ensure you're not blinding oncoming traffic.

I'm just over 2-years in with the same Farhan LED's I installed when I got my truck new in Feb 24' and no issues.

ALl the headlight housings bolt up the same and no issues with actual fitment.
The factory projectors have a different style plug than the standard reflector housings. There are adapters you can buy that will allow you to use whatever headlights you want(Plug-n-Play).
One added perk to having the factory projectors is the dedicated DRL wires are in the plug. You can wire them up to the aftermarket DRLs and with some programming changes using AlfaOBD make them functional.

Be aware if you go led and live up north where it can ice they may need a way to heat up the front lens... I changed my lows to led but not the highs to keep ice from building up and making my lights useless.

That was from a miserable 13+ hour drive of ice, sleet, and snow through Colorado. Over half inch of ice accumulation in spots. Turned down the sun visors and blasted the defrost to keep ice build up on the windshield and still went through 3 jugs of deicer washer fluid. Got so hot in the truck I rolled down the windows. Had to use the high beams to de-ice the lights. Not the only time I've had to deal with ice but it was the worse.

I installed the low beams a week ago. Then the highs today. Guess I’ll see if there is an issue. Fahren leds’ the cheapest on Amazon. Pix coming

Do I have zero issues. Really happy about that. Picked up these. I hope they are plug and play w/out the adapter as well.
