4th Gen Electrical nightmares

Please Help! I have a 2010 ST 1500 and cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on with the electrical issues I’m having. It started with the headlights flickering when in low beam but now flicker when both in high and low. Also the radio will randomly loose all power but then kick back on ……. AND NOW the truck dies for one split second while diving but will immediately turn back on and continue like nothing happened. I cleaned out and dielectric greased the negative battery terminal and ground to the truck and neither did anything, and I check all the fuses and they seem fine. Has anyone else had this happen????

It's possible that the tipm (main fuse panel) is starting to fail. It's not a uncommon issue but not something that happens a lot.

Could it be something simple like a charging system problem? Is the alternator charging properly? Not just the volts but check the amperage it’s putting out. Also the battery. Is it newer or been around a while. I know this stuff sounds basic, but that is where I would start.

I would also check the main harness that runs into the truck. Look right behind the driver side tire up under the truck. Make sure it's not broken or frayed.

Are your headlights aftermarket LED or anything also any aftermarket radio ect? I would also test your alternator test your battery check all grounds ect

finally tracked it down after replacing the tipm and getting a new battery to an issue with the battery terminal wires. they had a been worn down and not making a solid connection anymore. Thanks guys
