Hey. I live in a town called Charlevoix, Mi on Lake Charlevoix.

Retired, former Marine: 2nd Battalion 10th Marines, artillery, MOS 0802, rank; O3.

Wife, three kids, one dog, three boats (two paddle, one power).
Been a good life, looking forward to more.

My first Ram was a '98 Quad cab 1500, 5.9l, stock 3.55 gears upgraded to 3.92s.

Second Ram was '02 Quad cab 1500, 5.9l, 3.92 gears, 17" wheels, silver with blue interior (the only blue interior I have ever personally seen).

Third Ram was '04 Quad cab 2500, 5.7l, 4.10 gears, silver.

Now driving '11 Quad 2500 6.7l, 4.10 gears, charcoal grey. Love this beast. My son calls it "Curly Bill" and I have no idea why. LOL

Thanks, fellas.

Pursuaded to purchase the Cummins because my dad has had two now, a '98 5.9l cummins and a '10 6.7l.

After driving his '10 with a horse trailer and three horses I was convinced it was the one for me. The idea that it should be the last truck I ever have to purchase also weighed in on the decision.

Clessie Lyle Cummins. A great man with a great vision. LOL

Thanks everyone.

Nice to feel welcomed so well. Been on forums where members hardly notice newbies.

Question:

Is it a RF fashion faux pas to do a topper and running boards? LOL

Or, am I just getting old and I was blissfully unaware?

Also thinking about adding chrome side moldings: 2009-2012 Dodge Ram Crew & Mega Cab Chrome Bodyside Moldings Set 4 NEW OEM MOPAR | eBay
and possibly pick up some OEM chrome mirros.

Too much chrome? I am VERY old school with chrome trim and love it. The truck is BIG and has lots of GREY and could easily stand something to break it up a bit. Dress it up, rather.
