5.2 finally done for!!!!!

Well before I joined this family (forum) my truck had a baby 3.9l 239ci v6 and I swapped with a 5.2that I bought from a friend for $200 with 68000 miles on it... And after about 6 months it started knocking (bad rod) and incase of an issue I put my 3.9 in storage... Well ladies and gentlemen the time has come for me to go back to that 3.9
.. I was driving down I-75 today and it started losing power and knocking 1000x worse and what do ya know it's locked up!!!!!!! Gonna be putting my baby motor back in this weekend

Well while the 5.2 is out you could do a rebuild dpending on how bad its torn up. A rotating asm and machine work on the block shouldnt be to bad.

haha i Wish!!!! ill eventually go to the local Salvage Yard and see if i can get a 360 with a manual trans for a decent price

Was recently layed off so i wont be doing that anytime soon but i do plan on doing a rebuild and maybe selling it or something..... im gonna get a 360 with a tranny from a junk yard and drop them into my truck if its possible to switch from a 3.9 to a 5.9 lol
