5.7 Hemi
This is a long question, but I need some help. I recently bought my 2007 ram 2500 5.7 hemi about three months ago, and it ran and drove like a dream when I bought it. I got a code about a month in P430. Called my mechanic he said don’t worry about it too much and get it in when I could. Did that, he cleared it up, all good. A month later I get that code again. I don’t worry at first. So I keep driving it to work about 30 miles away. All of a sudden I start to lose all power I get codes for random misfires and fuel too lean. Obviously I completely stopped driving it. So before I bring it to a dealership and spend a bunch of money, my question is should the catalytic converter be replaced and maybe plugs and coils. Is a bad cat causing my fuel to run to lean which is causing the misfires. Any info would help.
