Looks cool, where did you pick it up from and how is your am/fm reception now?

Got it from Cravenspeed. I'll have to see about reception once I pick up my truck today... did this right before dropping it off to get painted. I only really use my ipod in the truck or the xm on occasion.

I'll check it out. Easy to replace? I tried to remove my antenna before I went into the car wash a few weeks ago and could not get that sucker off!

It's a bit of a ***** if you think you can just unscrew it... the chrome circle that has like 3 flat indentations is the part you need to unscrew first. After that's off you can lift it and unscrew the actual antenna

Oh, didn't know it screwed in twice. I couldn't get the indented cap off even with a pair of vise grips.

I used a flat head screwdriver to tap it loose then did it with the pliers

Just as what seems to be consistent with the reviews of other stubby antennas I noticed a slight drop in reception today as I tested it out on the weaker stations but still seems fine. Easy enough to swap out if I go on a roadtrip.
