I have a 2019 ram 3500 tradesman. I would like to add led fog lights. Can you help me with part numbers for everything I'd need? Thanks, Jim

Getting d13 into the c4 connector is much easier if you have a really skinny friend to do it for you. That. Is. The. Debil. Still working on it!! :(

I’m a little older and don’t move as well as I used to due to heart surgery.

I have the Baja Designs LED fogs installed, but need some help with the wiring.

If anyone is in the Northwest Arkansas area and is interested in assisting me, I will pick up the harnesses from Mpgrimm2.

If interested private message me to work something out. Someone with AlphaOBD experience would be really helpful as I’m new to the software.

I have a 2021 Ram 2500 Tradesman.

Yes, you will. I can supply the bumper/jumper harness and bcm extension harness. The foglight assy's (halogen or LED), bezels, brackets and dash switch you will need to get from AllMoparParts.

I'm almost out of parts for both harnesses until I get more in.

Finished my first AlphaOBD update to add the Baja Designs fog lights to my 2021 Ram 2500 Tradesman and I’m liking them a lot. I REALLY liking that I didn’t let some dingbat installer drill a hole in my dashboard to put a toggle switch in.

This was not at all as complicated as one may think when sorting through the instruction.

Baja Designs will tell you which Mopar parts for brackets and bezels are needed for their lights to be mounted. I don’t have or plan to add the parking sensors.

I used these parts ordered from Mopar Wholesale Parts, but you can get them anywhere you like.
Fog Lamp Brack Kit 68449383AA $23.36
Fog Lamp Bezel Kit 68449341AA $14.50
Headlamp Switch 68373903AB $26.59

These are the Baja Design lights I used.

Let me give credit where credit is definitely due.

Major ”thank you” to Mpgrimm2 for his instructions posted on the forum, coaching for installing his harnesses, and encouragement that I could get this done. I have some health challenges that made me think I wouldn’t be able to get under the dash to do this. The process wasn’t nearly as complicated as it first seemed.

Another quality piece that was key for me was the Kaodtech security bypass cable. Thank you for providing this to help us work on our own trucks.

These harnesses are very well made and the installation can be done in just a few hours.

If you are considering this upgrade, do yourself a favor - DO NOT HIRE A COMPANY TO DO THIS. You can do it with the two harnesses from Mpgrimm2 and the Kaodtech security bypass using AlphaOBD to make the change (also not that difficult).

I used AlphaOBD on a Windows laptop and OBDLink Ex (wired) to connect with the truck. It was a very fast, simple change.

I now have the factory switch installed to on/off the lights, but I also used AlphaOBD to update for the high beams to be on at the same time as the fogs.

I hope this helps encourage anyone considering this upgrade. As crappy as the halogen headlights are, this is a good step for me to get more light on the road. I will look at updating to LED headlights when I save up more money.

Thank you to those that came before me, answered everyones questions multiple times and figured this out. For my 2500 connecting to the BCM was a nightmare. lifting the truck and doing the alignment myself was easier than getting the pins into the BCM…. But its complete, so thanks again for the how-to!!
