5th gen rear window exterior trim loose

Hello,

The exterior horizontal rear window trim is lifting up.

When I did a Google search it came back a known issue, return to dealer for warranty repair.

My question is I am over a year since I purchased the truck.

Would this be covered under the 3 year 36k warranty?

Looks like this is the replacement parts, probably not worth a trip to the dealership.

I would take it in for the repair, to be sure it is done right. Any further leaks after repair you do and warranty won't cover it.
