Hand calculated was 16.5 so pretty ****** close

yep. My EVIC is never more than .5-.6 off and i hand calculate every tank. One time the EVIC was actually lower than the actual. I can count on my mileage being about .5 under my EVIC every time. I even track it on fuelly and put my EVIC reading in the notes in every entry.

Trip computer on mine is also never more than .5 MPG off. I know the older trucks were pretty inaccurate.

Pulled down 15.0 MPG today, best tank ever. 85 miles of interstate with the cruise set at 70 MPH and 60 miles of rolling county roads. All in one day, not a lot of elevation gain.

Was chatting with my service adviser last week and he said mileage gets better when the injectors get worn in. I dunno but dude is usually pretty squared away.

That's great! My best hand calc was 14.5 running from Albany to the painted hills and back to Bend. I had a 4.10. How many miles on that tank of 15.0 mpg? Is your truck 4.10 or 3.73? TIA

This trip was from The Dalles to McDonald Ferry on the John Day. My truck is 4.10 gears. Running 65 front and 70 rear for tire pressure, been hauling a lot lately. On the day I got 15.0 I was empty. Total of 146 miles round trip. The computer was saying 16.5 until I started coming back to The Dalles, the head wind dropped it to 14.7. For once the computer wasn’t higher than actual which I believe is anomaly from the awful head wind.

My truck only has 3000 miles on it. I will say it’s really waking up as it settles in.

Just fueled up yesterday and was damn pleased. This was the first full tank for me since I picked it up last week. Evic said 15.2, but I've always heard more stories about them being off than on, and hand calc came out to 15.2 too. Truck is a 20, 3500, CC, cab/chassis, 4:10 with a 9 foot utility body. Have not had a chance to run this one over the scales yet, but the old one (similar set-up 06 F250) weighed in at 9900 lbs with nothing in the bed. The best the 06 ever got was 12mpg, and it had the 6.0 diesel.

Thats what I'm rocking. Everyone said that the 4th Gens needed 4.10's otherwise the 6.4 was a boat anchor. even similar to the 1500 3.92 or 4.10 were the desired gear. So i made sure i got 4.10's, i think i would be okay with 3.73 in this truck to be honest.

My 2019 6.4 had 4.10's because of all the reports that were based on the 6 spds. Ford 6.2 was the same way. But the new 8spd made me feel the 3.73 would be great for me as I don't run large heavier tires or tow all that often.

Pulled down 14.3 on this tank. 187 miles of normal driving. I’m beginning to think this truck is just breaking in.

I think 3.73’s are perfect for stock tires with this transmission. I made sure to get 4.10’s because I knew I would be going to 35’s eventually.

Filled mine yesterday and had the biggest EVIC discrepancy so far in this truck. Did a little more highway driving than usual (rural driving at least). My EVIC read 13.8 but hand calculated was 12.462. I did squeeze about an extra .75 gallons in. The pump stopped at about $34 but I went over by .01 so took it up to $35 so squeezed more in than usual. If I calculate that in then I got closer to about 12.9 hand calculated. This is probably the first time ever with this truck I was off by more than about .7. The only difference was I had my new tonneau cover on for most of this tank and a little less in town driving. My avg speed for this tank read 26 MPH

Filled it again today. EVIC read 13.6. Actual hand calculated was 13.363 so about .25 off. That's more the norm for mine as far as accuracy. My average speed on this tank was 30 MPH according to EVIC so there wasn't as much in town driving. My 'average' seems to be about 22-23 MPH avg and about 11.8 MPG with that speed.

Just turned 15,000 miles on the clock today

Fuelly updated their vehicles and now the 6.4 is an option for the 2019 trucks. I keep track of all my fuel ups through Fuelly, last two have been really good.

On a 250 mile hwy drive from OKC to Little Rock, she averaged 17.4. I drove between 65 and 75 for the most part. Color me impressed.
