so lets get to the chase here. I have a 2009 dodge ram 3500 with 111846 miles on the clock. It started demonstrating a serious surging problem recently. The truck runs great and doesn't demonstrate any serious problems under load. The issue occurs when the truck is idling and I am holding the break just sort of rolling along, the entire truck shakes and shudders very noticeably this condition gets worse as the engine temperature increases to operating temperature. Unfortunately there is quite a bit of back ground to this problem, I am hoping that explaining the back ground story will aid in diagnosing the problem.
I work as a mobile welder and I filled up my truck with the diesel fule tank on site. it was discovered the next day that the on site diesel tank was contaminated with gasoline (a mixture of about 30 percent died gasoline and 70 percent clear diesel). Once I caught wind of this I parked my welding truck and held the fuel supply company liable. The truck probably only drove about 10km and idled for about 4 hours the day it had contaminated fule in it. My dodge went to the only diesel shop in the area that could take it on short notice, the tank was drained, fule filters changed and the injectors went out for testing. 5 of the 6 injectors failed testing on the return side and the 6th injector barley passed. so the diesel shop installed 6 rebuilt injectors and a new injection pump. at this point the truck was returned to me and to be honest it ran great during the test drive, but as soon as I pulled it into a parking spot I noticed while crawling with the break applied it was demonstrating the condition I already described.
At this point I really couldn't do anything about it because I was working on a 3 week long shut down. I completed the shut down and then drove home and took my shop to a dodge dealer. The dodge dealer reprogrammed the new injectors to the ECU which...did not fix anything (they also some how broke a rocker arm bolt in this process) then thy checked fule pressure which checked out fine so they tested the flow rate of the lift pump which was about 490 ML in 10 seconds so dodge replaced the lift pump (which im really not sure if they should have) long story short after being handed a bill for $2100 the truck was still not repaired and I pulled my truck from the dealer because the service manager told me he couldn't figure it out.
I have a feeling this problem is being caused by something minor and the incompetent mechanics and dodge couldn't figure it out because there wasn't an engine code to work off of, If any one on this forum could be of assistance it would be greatly appreciated.

Let me understand this, you paid 2100.00 to a dealer to not fix the truck ?

The gasoline dropped the lubricating property of the diesel fuel. My first thought is the fuel pump is craping out. Any moving part that the diesel lubricates needs to be checked. Was the fuel pressure checked ?
