I am new to Turbo trucks, and this is my first Cummins (so please forgive my ignorance right now).

Check Engine light came on. Hooked code reader to it and got the following:

"3 Confirmed Codes"
P003A Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control "A" Position Exceeded Learning Limit
U0001 CAN C Bus
P0607 Control Module Performance

"1 Pending Code"
P003A Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control "A" Position Exceeded Learning Limit

"1 Permanent Code"
P003A Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control "A" Position Exceeded Learning Limit

Before taking my truck to the Dodge dealership and getting my wallet hijacked, I was hoping perhaps some of you might seen this particular combination of codes and can point me in the right direction... I have not felt much of any loss of power, and my fuel mileage has not decreased noticably at all... Engine has been deleted and runs a Bullydog GT set on tow/economy.

Any insight would be most appreciated.

Turbo actuator is likely toast. The dealer will want to replace the whole turbo for thousands of dollars. A good aftermarket diesel shop can replace the actuator for several hundred. After it is replaced, I would recommend a turbo blanket to keep the heat away from your actuator.

This is the reason why I replaced my turbo with a fixed geometry one. My brother replaced his actuator in his 2014 for about $400 several years ago and he hasn't had the same issues since. Prices have probably gone up since then.

How can you possibly have any problems if your truck has been deleted and tuned? The dealer will probably not even touch it.
Hearing all the "delete and tune" guys around here you would think that is the answer to everything up to and including a cure for cancer. :insane:

I don't think his truck is deleted. If I am not mistaken, Bullydog only has an emissions intact tunes. My brother's was 100% stock when it happen to him. It never happen to me, but I just wanted to replace the turbo before it could. I never liked electronically VG turbos.

I didn't perform the delete Gr8banana, I bought it that way. Simply looking for some guidance. Local dealership does indeed still service it as they performed some recall work not long ago and did not have issue. Thanks for your opinion though. Certainly did not feel it had anything to do with curing cancer.
